We are having fun!
The IZH as a place
The intercultural center has a lot to offer: soccer fields, a small gym, various workshops, studios, an open-air amphitheater, a café, a kitchen and much more. We are currently still working on the new heart of the IZH: the newly emerging rotunda. And everyone who wants can take part – that means not only working, but also helping to plan. A rustic common room with a fireplace in the middle is planned. With space for 60 people and a wide variety of events: concerts, readings, parties, exhibitions and much more. We look forward to fresh ideas!

What and who is behind it
The IHZ is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia as part of the “Third Places – Houses for Culture and Encounters in Rural Areas” program. Third places are places that offer a fixed starting point for encounters in addition to your own home and work. A place where different people like to meet informally. And because you can't create a place like this on your own, we have teamed up:
